Aquarama is the big trade fair and convention of Aquarists and other people from the Aquarium Industry.It is held each Summer at Singapore. The Goldfish Carrasius auratus is one of the oldest fishes bred for ornamental purposes and it shows - the fish has several varieties my favourite is the Ryukin and the ranchu. The home ofthe Goldfish is China. And up to today is still one of biggest suppliers of Goldfish through out the world. Not suited for community tanks but for single species tank. Best kept in 50-100 gallon aquariums. Requires a large volume of water and frequent water change in order to surive, grow anmd reproduce.
