Confession time

Its confession time. I belong to a group that (i) appears to hate Valentines Day, (ii) sees the beauty in Power Point presentations to a point that it becomes legitimate performance art, (iii) plans to build a Ancient Siege weapon somewhere in the heart of Metro Manila in order to lay siege to the Tower of Love, and (iv) whose members love like to play games - among them Nintendo DS. Unsuprisingly, the group is called the Geek Chorus - no this is not a typo it is missing an R. The group that removed pilfered STOLE the RRRRRRRR! from the word Greek and made it their own.

So if you are into any of those mentioned things above or would just have fun come the 16th of October is the date to remember. :)

Remember Remember the 16th of October
For party and fun with DS or none
I see no reason why DS and Geeks fun
Should ever be forgot…

To mag:net cafe we go
between 18:00 to 22:00 that Day
It is more than a Geek’s Soiree
So Remember Remember the 16th of October

Enough said or else I might be dead :)

Its

DS Night Part Deux

More details about this once in a Blue Moon Geek Extravaganza visit Gabe’s blog and Jayvee’s post. Come Tuesday lets find out who is the Uber-Geek. I do not believe I just wrote that :(

And for our closing piece: Remember this Anime?

About

  • In Cubao was a house sitting along Harvard Street and in the house lived Juned.
  • Short in stature and wide in girth, he is culturally the sum total of the consecutive rule of the Spanish Friars and the Conquistadores; the American Thomasites and the Tammany Hall Politicians, and Ferdinand Marcos and his New Republic or as was known in the vernacular Bagong Lipunan.
  • A Martial Law Baby and a Edsa I participant, Juned has become somewhat of a Sancho Panza minus the Don Quixote.
  • Aside from baratillo @ cubao, Sancho er Juned has several other blogs.
  • Juned also writes for b5media as the blogger for A Feed Is Born blog - all about RSS, webfeeds and information overload.
  • Here is a more detailed version of the about page, verbose and boring, with the exciting and original title of About Juned
