Bibingka, Radio Cubao and vlogging

Is there such a word vlogging lets see. Apparently there is or are … at least in Wikipedia and also in the article of Katie Dean : Blogging + Video = Vlogging.

After much thinking and procrastination I think I am now becoming a Vlogger. Blame the Verzio M700 and a lot of the vloggers I met and became friends with and friends who have become vloggers, without knowing it. And the presence of on-line video editors like JumpCut and EyeSpot.

Now Radio Cubao aside has become a Vlog or more accurately a quasi Vlog because Radio Cubao will still be doing podcasts. I think there is still room for podcasts - a little bit more specialized but its there.

So here goes nothing. Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more (^_^)Y

Frankly I much prefer podcasts because they’re something I can listen to while working or driving. video podcasts are great too, but less efficient because whlie you’re watching them you can’t really do anything else. They’re useful during flights though.

Ryan, Exactly and that is the reason why I am not giving up on podcasts. Nearly anything one can do in videocasts has been done in podcasts. One Radio Presenter once called it the theatre of the mind.

About

  • In Cubao was a house sitting along Harvard Street and in the house lived Juned.
  • Short in stature and wide in girth, he is culturally the sum total of the consecutive rule of the Spanish Friars and the Conquistadores; the American Thomasites and the Tammany Hall Politicians, and Ferdinand Marcos and his New Republic or as was known in the vernacular Bagong Lipunan.
  • A Martial Law Baby and a Edsa I participant, Juned has become somewhat of a Sancho Panza minus the Don Quixote.
  • Aside from baratillo @ cubao, Sancho er Juned has several other blogs.
  • Juned also writes for b5media as the blogger for A Feed Is Born blog - all about RSS, webfeeds and information overload.
  • Here is a more detailed version of the about page, verbose and boring, with the exciting and original title of About Juned
