The Story of David Icarangal

Mister David Icarangal was at his “cubicle” working. The “cubicle” was a desk at the corner of his room. David was a ghost writer for the Blogger. There was a time when the Blogger wrote his own posts but that was a long time ago. Success and Money had given an excuse and the means for the Blogger to hire David. And the pay was good anyway. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement for David and the Blogger.

David checked his inbox for his list of latest assignments from the Blogger. Three posts each day. What would it be today. Then David opened his desk and saw an old letter. Somehow it had been dislodged from a stack piled up on his drawer. It was an old letter from Ateneo. A letter of acceptance to Ateneo. David went to the University of the Philippines (UP). Looking at the letter now David realized that the course he was about to take at Ateneo was different from the one he took at UP. It was a crossroad of his life.

David said to himself life would have been different if he went to Ateneo amd pursued the other career. He would have ended up being a Doctor or Professor. Davidvwould not be burdened with credit card problems. And he might have met someone, who would become his wife

Just then a small man appeared before David. He gave him his card and explained he was a Time Dwarf and could take him back to any of the cross road in his time, so he can change his life. All he asked of David was to give him any coin in his pocket.

David gave him a coin in his pocket. And the small man waved his hand and before you could finish saying supercalifragilisticexpialidociuos they went back in time and changed David’s fate.
